She took the time to get ready and did not do the test impromptu. Then, she signed on for three films together with Yash Raj Films. She played the young wife of a man who was older in the movie (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed with Shahid Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 movie "Badmash Company". The film received mixed reviews. Anushka appeared as the role of a Punjabi girl of middle class in the movie named 'Band Baaja Baraat. Anushka was in the film with Ranveer.
